Nurture your body, nourish the soul, and soothe the mind at this year's Yoga Day on Saturday June 16th.
We'll begin with a 1 1/4 hour light flow hatha yoga class accompanied by live acoustic music with chanting. The yoga class begins at 8:30 am and ends at 9:45 as is appropriate for all levels.
Followed by a talk from our guest speaker, world-renowned yoga master Balakhilya das, who will be speaking on the subject of "Meditation: It's Easier Than You Think". Balakhilya das will lead us through some easy-to-learn, fun and relaxing meditation techniques, bringing us to about 12:30 pm. Bring a yoga mat!
IF YOU'D LIKE TO COME FOR JUST THE TALK AND MEDITATION PORTION, PLEASE DO! PLEASE ARRIVE AT 9:45 am IN THAT CASE.
